Merrie England

One of our longstanding clients has managed a coffee shop in the middle of Halifax for many years, which formed the corner of the listed indoor market hall. The existing shopfront was very dated and Merrie England proposed to update the coffee shop as part of a continuous improvement of their properties in the area. Due to the building status, the new shopfront was designed in conjunction with the local authority conservation department. The finished shopfront re-creates the original features with curved glass entrance panels, elaborate timber frames, and details.
