Planning permission was approved for this house transformation back in 2020. The property has stunning panoramic views and the brief sought to exploit these, whilst providing a striking aesthetic. The client's clear instruction was to avoid symmetry. The design includes side and front extensions, with large glazed areas overlooking the valley. The house will have an extensive balcony which will take further advantage of the views. A combination of materials and varied design rhythms will provide an exciting addition to the hillside location. Building work is currently ongoing.
