Highburton Garden Room

The brief of this project was to design an extension that would allow the clients to better relate to their raised rear garden. The extension provides a new entrance into the existing house. The ground floor provides a new shower room and utility accommodation, with a staircase leading up to a light and spacious garden room. The clients were keen to explore a contemporary approach that would work with their existing house. The use of timber cladding, an overhanging flat roof, a zinc lean-to roof, and large areas of glazing all help to promote this aesthetic.
