Crowtrees

We obtained planning permission for a client to demolish an existing bungalow and construct two contemporary houses. The clients were to live in one of the houses with the other built to sell. Our brief was to design properties that will have a positive impact on the street scene with contemporary features and materials. This has been achieved by a cantilevered glazed entrance and stairway, with individual window forms following the lines of the gable verge details. Internally light and space were the key requirements. Large areas of glazing and a ridge roof window flood the main internal areas with natural light.
